Fully restored Kaiser Idell Model 6556 Bauhaus desk lamp
Fully restored 1930s Kaiser Idell Model 6551 desk lamp by Christian Dell.
As you can see in the last few photographs it was in a very sorry state when it arrived with us last year but after being restored it’s looking absolutely stunning.
Now repainted you can see how the shade was cold pressed over a cast iron mould with ripples in the metal later versions don’t have this or the bare cast iron base.
Possibly the best example ive ever seen,
New bulb fitting, switch , flex and plug and fully pat tested ready for the home or office.
