Beautifully restored pair of model 411 Siesta open lounge chairs designed by Victor Wilkins for E Gomme / G-Plan.
These are rarest model of Siesta chair with the flat full length armrests and just a little more stylish than the more available models.
They’ve been stripped back to their bare bones both frames were originally coated in thick dark brown varnish which has now stripped to reveal the blonde Beechwood and finished with 3 coats of Osmo hard wax oil to bring out the colour and grain, The seats themselves have been stripped back with not only new fabric but new foam and cotton padding.
